Dune is our spur of the moment puppy. I had never bought a puppy this way and probably never will again. While at a show in Owen Sound I heard from breeders Bruce and Evelyn MacPherson, that they had two 12 week old puppies for sale and they were outstanding. Well many breeder say that about their puppies so I decided to go see for myself. Well I was floored! Bruce brought out two of the most beautiful big bone puppies I had ever seen. I went over them controlling my excitement. If my husband said yes one of them could possibly come home. After going over both,one of them, named Dune, caught my eye. I decided to hold on to him for a bit while I texted my husband: "Hey honey look at this boy>>>>Photo<<<< Can I buy him?" His answer: " Do whatever your think we need for the kennel's future." So began a new adventure for Mr Dune. He was an exuberant young lad so we took obedience classes first and foremost to make him come when called by the time he was four months old he could come and sit straight in front of me. A very smart boy. At his first show he won Reserve winners dog and at the first specialty he won first in his class in sweeps and fourth in class. Then he took some time to fill his big frame. First show back we were blow away. He not only brought home best of Breed but a Group first from the class and now a full Canadian Show Champion. ***Dune is now entering a new stage in his life he now lives with Colleen and Allison Reid in Orillia.
